Corbyn Carlson
Corbyn Carlson is from Spokane, Washington, and resides in Lyons Hall. She is currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering but has considered film and psychology as well. Her essay "Invisibilia: False Memories," is centered on the concept of false memories, integrating real-world examples and the insights of psychologists. This essay was inspired by the NPR podcast Invisibilia, which discusses topics related to psychology and ties them to everyday life. The specific topic of false memories arose from her personal interest in the human mind and the reliability of perceptions of the past. Corbyn would like to thank her multimedia writing and rhetoric professor, Professor MacDonald, for her guidance and support.
